Valentine’s Day Gel Candles: Ted Baker × Little Luna
I still smile whenever I think about our Valentine’s project with Ted Baker: neat rows of crystal-clear gel candles—our bestselling Signature Aroma Scented Gel Candle with Preserved Flower—each one cradling tiny blooms and flecks of gold leaf that sparkle like confetti. They looked so jewel-like that more than one shopper whispered, “It’s too pretty to burn.” I totally understood—the effect is pure décor before it’s ever a candle.

Why We Picked Gel, Not Soy
Gel lets every petal stay visible, suspended as if floating under water; soy would simply cover the flowers in a blanket of opaque cream. The see-through base also shows off the glittering gold foil and gives a longer, cleaner burn, so the Valentine scent lingers all evening. Honestly, it was less a chemistry decision than an artistic one: gel behaves like liquid glass—exactly the stage our flowers deserve.

A Tiny Bouquet, Frozen in Time
For the floral palette, I went full romance: blush hydrangea, snowy baby’s-breath, and pops of crimson dianthus nestled together so the colours dance against the gold. It’s a miniature bouquet captured forever, ready to be admired from every angle.

Proud to Shine in Three Ted Baker Stores
The best part? Ted Baker loved the concept enough to run the activation across three boutiques. Watching guests layer their own petals and discover the sparkle trapped inside the gel felt like sharing a secret art technique right on the shop floor. Valentine’s shoppers left with candles that looked—and smelled—like love itself.
Until the next petal-filled adventure,
