Chloé × Little Luna: Tropical Charms for Mother’s Day
A Sunny Celebration in Pavilion Bukit Bintang
Mother’s Day weekend saw us setting up a little slice of summer inside Chloé’s Pavilion Bukit Bintang boutique. The maison’s new raffia basket bag collection already famous for its woven craftsmanship needed something playful to match its laid back spirit, so we sprinkled the space with handmade charms and a dash of tropical colour.
Fruit Charms, the Chloé Way
When we think of Chloé summers, we picture juicy motifs pineapples and bananas have become their signature fruits, popping up on everything from key rings to runway knits. We leaned into that vibe with crocheted pineapple, banana, and even watermelon charms. Their soft stitches and vibrant shades made the neutral basket bags feel instantly sun kissed and holiday ready.

Macramé Knotted Keepsakes
To complement the fruit, we knotted a series of ivory macramé tassel charms each one tied, looped, and trimmed by hand in the studio. Learning this knotting technique was a fresh challenge, and I’m grateful to Chloé for nudging us into new creative territory. The creamy cotton strands play beautifully against the textured raffia, giving the bags a breezy, bohemian accent.
Mother-of-Pearl Initials with a Golden Finish
Every charm deserved a personal touch, so we added delicate mother-of-pearl discs. We engraved a single initial on each shell, then painted a fine gold edge to catch the light turning a humble letter into a tiny piece of jewellery. Guests loved watching their initials come to life right at our engraving corner, and the result felt both luxe and heartfelt.
Colour, Craft, and a Thank You
Seeing shoppers clip our fruits and tassels onto their new Chloé bags instantly adding a pop of colour was pure joy. The collaboration reminded me how a small, handcrafted detail can transform an accessory and, more importantly, how creativity blossoms when brands believe in artisanal work.
