Preserve Your Own Flowers

Why We Chose to Preserve Your Own Flowers
For years I sourced imported preserved flowers. They were beautiful yet never carried the heartbeat of a wedding day or an anniversary picnic. Friends kept asking whether I could save their actual bouquet. I realised our studio would keep bumping into a ceiling if we only relied on suppliers. So the team rolled up our sleeves and learned the full preservation process from stem to frame.

From Fresh Petals to Forever Memory
We start by trimming every stem the moment the bouquet arrives. Heads are cushioned in a gentle drying medium that coaxes moisture away without stealing colour. Over the next fortnight the roses rest in this floral cocoon. Once the petals feel light as paper we clean away the drying crystals and test the blossoms for firmness. Only then do we begin layout on archival board, fixing leaves and stems with museum grade adhesive. A silk ribbon and calligraphed name banner finish the composition before the piece slips behind UV protected glass.

What This Means for You
Your bouquet stays yours. No substitutions. No lookalike stems. You receive a framed artwork that still carries the fragrance of the aisle, ready to hang beside wedding photographs or pass down one day. Because the flowers are fully dried and sealed they will not brown or crumble under normal indoor light.

Growing Skills, Growing Possibilities
Learning this craft has unlocked new ideas for our studio. We can now preserve graduation corsages, proposal bouquets and even farewell flowers from a cherished garden. The possibilities stretch far beyond the limited palette of imported stock.
